Holy cow - it's a great finisher after a more traditional strength training or cardio workout. It's an awesome HIIT that you can customize to the time you have available today.
You can do 3 rounds for about 10-15 minutes at the end of a workout, or 5 rounds for closer to 20-30 minutes, which is really the perfect amount for midlife women. Feel free to add more weight and to bring those pushups down to the floor. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

How to do the Workout
Warm Up for 2-5 Minutes
Begin with the squat and perform 20 reps holding the broomstick overhead. Move to a bench or step for 20 incline pushups. Then continue through the circuit each for 20 reps. Continue for 3-5 rounds, resting as needed. Note your total time and rounds.
Warm up for 2-5 minutes.
Start a Stopwatch.
- Squat: 20 reps.
- Incline Pushups: 20 reps
- Reverse Lunges: 20 reps
- Bent Over Row: 20 Reps
- Step Ups: 20 Reps
Repeat for 3-5 rounds, resting as needed. Note final time and number of rounds.
